About this perennial

Scabiosa 'Perfecta' is a beautiful, lavender-coloured pincushion flower. A favourite for the cutting garden, where its colour and shape combine perfectly with a variety of other perennials, such as peonies and Achillea. If you remove spent flowers or pick regularly, the plant will bloom profusely between June and September. If you use the plant in a border, the seed pods that form after flowering also provide an attractive sight.

CARE

In summer, regularly remove spent flowers to encourage a longer flowering period. In autumn, cut off seed pods if you don't want the plant to self-seed. In winter, ensure the plant isn't too wet, as they will have a short life otherwise. <!--en--><!--en-->In spring, give some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth and flowering. They will produce many flowers, especially in their second year.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
