Scabiosa - Pincushion Flower

Scabiosa 'Perfecta' is a beautiful, lavender-colored pincushion flower. A favorite for the cutting garden, where its color and form combine ideally with a multitude of other perennials, such as peonies and Achillea. If you remove spent flowers or pick them regularly, the plant will bloom profusely between June and September. If you use the plant in a border, the seed pods that develop after flowering also make for a nice sight.
