Origanum - Marjoram

Origanum vulgare 'Hortorum', or True Marjoram, is a beautiful plant with a lovely fragrance. It is best planted at the front of a border or as a ground cover among other plants. The leaves have a wonderful herbal scent and the plant produces purplish-pink flowers between July and October. Butterflies and bees love this plant. Origanum can also be planted in a rock garden or in sandy soil.
