At Clay & Roots, we not only sell perennials from our own nursery but also from growers with whom we collaborate directly. We believe in short supply chains and love to show you where your plants come from. Being a grower is a wonderful profession where you work with the seasons and no two days are the same. Nursery Jan
Nursery Jan is our own nursery! At our small-scale nursery in the Achterhoek, we grow various types of plants in P9 pots. We do this in a sustainable way, according to the latest developments in resilient and sustainable cultivation with an eye for the environment.
Coenen Partnership
This family business switched from livestock farming to growing perennials when the current owner, Sander, took over the business from his parents.
In the north of Limburg, Maatschap Coenen grows beautiful peonies and Astilbe plants, among other things.
MTS Lucassen
Mts Lucassen's plants are grown On The Way To Planet Proof, which means this modern nursery takes measures in areas such as environment, emissions, and water quality.
The company is run by the third generation of the family business. In the beautiful North Limburg, they cultivate over 800 varieties of plants.
Nursery van Klinken
In beautiful Zeeland, Huib and his brother cultivate the most beautiful Iris Germanica varieties and many other perennials in the open ground.
We know these brothers from a grower's course on resilient and sustainable cultivation and are very pleased that we can also offer their beautiful plants at Clay & Roots.
Vilier perennials
In the family business Vilier Perennials, Theo and Ria Vilier work together with their successor and co-owner Stan.
In Boerdonk, they grow a wide range of outdoor plants in a sustainable way.
