About this perennial

Lavender is, of course, known for its beautiful purple flowers and wonderful scent. Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote is a well-known English lavender variety. A popular variety that stays low, has a beautiful bushy growth, and produces stunning, fragrant flowers. A classic for the front of your border, in a rock garden, or in flower boxes or pots.

    CARE

    Before planting, mix some fresh soil or compost into the ground for nutrient-rich soil. After flowering, prune the flowers back by a few centimeters from the leafy stems. This will keep the plant compact and encourage it to grow wide. Only water the plant during severe drought. In a pot, the plant will always need water a bit sooner than in open ground.
    SPOT IN THE GARDEN

    Always plant Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote in full sun. Do not plant it if the soil is very wet, as lavender does not like wet feet. Ensure well-drained soil.

    Delivery

    Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

    Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
