About this perennial

Agastache foeniculum is also known as Anise Hyssop. This cheerful summer bloomer has a long flowering period and is very attractive to bees and butterflies. The flowers also give off a lovely scent. Do not prune the spent flowers, as the seeds are a feast for coal tits and blue tits in autumn.

A truly low-maintenance perennial that produces abundant flowers and will bring you much joy in the garden.

CARE

Choose a spot in the garden that isn't too wet and gets plenty of sun.

The plant will self-seed if you leave the spent flowers. But blue tits and great tits will thank you in autumn, as they love the seeds of the Agastache.

In winter, the leaves die back completely. In early spring, cut away the old leaves and flowers to stimulate new growth. Also, apply some organic fertilizer to nourish the plant.

The easy-to-grow Agastache thrives in normal to dry soil. It's a lovely perennial for your border that also attracts butterflies and bees. Place the plant in partial shade to full sun.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
