About this perennial

Achillea Cassis is a beautiful purple to cherry-red Yarrow. Achillea is a native plant found throughout Europe. This perennial is drought-tolerant and adds a beautiful, natural look to your border. Very popular with bees and butterflies.

A truly low-maintenance perennial that produces abundant flowers and is excellent for cutting. You can even dry the flowers to enjoy them for even longer!

CARE

Yarrow is an easy plant that doesn't need much except enough sun. Make sure you have dry or well-drained soil, as the flowers can droop if there isn't enough drainage. Cut off spent flowers to encourage a second bloom.

In winter, the leaves die back completely. In early spring, cut away old leaves and flowers to stimulate new growth. Also, apply some organic fertilizer at that time.

The easy-to-grow Yarrow thrives in both pots and open ground. It's a good plant for your border that also attracts butterflies and bees. If you pick the flowers, new ones will grow again in the summer!

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
