About this perennial

Astrantia Major Pink Pride is a masterwort with a beautiful pink color. Its flowers are sometimes compared to a pincushion. A beautiful, abundant bloomer that is popular in cutting gardens. Due to its color and cheerful flowers, Astrantia fits very well in a cut bouquet with large peonies and many other flowers. A rewarding plant that can bloom up to twice a year.

    CARE

    Before planting, mix some fresh soil or compost into the ground for a nutrient-rich soil. Immediately after flowering, cut off the flower stalks to encourage a second bloom at the beginning of autumn. Tear the plant every 4-5 years and replant the young parts in the ground to keep the plant healthy.
    SPOT IN THE GARDEN

    Plant Astrantia Pink Pride preferably in semi-shade, or otherwise in full sun. The plants prefer moist, but not wet, soil. They also like nutrient-rich soil.

    Delivery

    Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

    Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
