Helenium Sahin's Early Flowerer is an award-winning perennial with a long flowering period. Its deep orange flowers become progressively yellower throughout the season. This plant produces many flowers and attracts many bees and butterflies. A strong perennial to enjoy for years.

Location in the garden

Plant the Helenium in a sunny spot in your garden and ensure well-drained soil. This plant does not like to be very wet. The colors of the flowers will appear more vibrant with plenty of sun. The flowers will certainly attract many bees and butterflies to your garden. A beautiful border plant that adds a lot of color.

Care

If you plant the Helenium freely in the garden, use a support ring to support the plant. This is often not necessary in a border among other plants. Because the plant blooms so profusely, you can easily pick flowers for a vase.

In early spring, cut back the dead leaves and stems and apply some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth. After a few years, it is good to dig up and divide the plant. Replant the young, healthy parts in the ground. This way, the plant stays healthy, and you will be able to enjoy it for years.
