About this perennial

The beautiful white Veronicastrum virginicum 'Album' was named plant of the year in Sweden in 2006. This is understandable, as this perennial is a beautiful tall eye-catcher for the back of your border, but you can also pick its flowers. The plant blooms between July and September and prefers full sun. It tolerates salty air well near the coast and also attracts many bees.

    CARE

    Make sure to give this plant room to grow. In winter, the foliage above ground dies back. In spring, new shoots will emerge. Only then should you remove the old foliage.

    In spring, apply some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth and flowering.
    SPOT IN THE GARDEN

    Plant Veronicastrum in a spot with full sun and ensure reasonably moist soil. Good drainage of the soil is important. If necessary, mix some sand or grit into the soil to make the spot more permeable. <!--en--><!--en-->The plant is best placed at the back of a border or in a cutting garden.

    Delivery

    Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

    Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
