About this perennial

Polemonium reptans is a cheerful spring bloomer often used as ground cover or at the front of a border. It is a creeping plant that spreads itself if you give it the space to do so. The plant also looks great in a pot on the patio. Additionally, you can easily pick the flowers to put in a vase. A versatile favorite!

CARE

Before planting, mix some fresh soil or compost into the ground for nutrient-rich soil. Remove old leaves in spring. Apply some organic fertilizer in spring.

The plant does not need support. Divide the plant every 4-5 years and replant the young sections to keep the plant healthy.

Plant the Jacob's Ladder in a spot with partial shade and ensure moist, well-draining soil. The plant is very winter hardy.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
