About this perennial

Physostegia virginica 'Alba' is a beautiful white variety of this perennial. The plant grows easily and produces masses of flowers from July to September. A sturdy, reliable and easy-to-maintain plant. Very suitable for your flower borders and perfect for a cutting garden.

CARE

Before planting, mix some fresh soil or compost into the ground for nutrient-rich soil. Remove old leaves in the spring. In spring, apply some organic fertilizer.

The plant does not need to be supported. Divide the plant every 4-5 years and replant the young divisions to keep the plant healthy.

Plant the Physostegia in a sunny or semi-shaded spot and ensure moist, well-drained soil. The plant is very winter-hardy.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
