About this perennial

Autumn Anemone Queen Charlotte is a beautiful Anemone with large, semi-double pink flowers. An indispensable plant that blooms for a long time in the autumn months and from which you can pick plenty of flowers after a few years. Autumn Anemones bring a lot of colour to your garden after summer and will bring you much joy.

Location preferably in partial shade, but can also be in a sunny spot, as long as there is some shade. Give your autumn anemone nutrient-rich soil so that it can grow well by mixing some compost into your soil before planting.

CARE

Choose a suitable spot in the garden for your plant and ensure well-fed, permeable soil. Preferably mix some compost into the soil before planting. Make sure the soil remains moist, but not too wet. Like many other perennials, the Japanese Anemone does not tolerate standing in water with its roots.

In early spring, cut off old stems and dead leaves, then apply some organic fertilizer. This will stimulate new growth.

SPOT IN THE GARDEN

The Japanese anemone grows best and most beautifully when it can be placed in a spot in partial shade, in the open ground. As the plant stays in your garden longer, it will slowly spread and produce more and more flowers. It's best to only pick the flowers after the plant has been able to establish itself for a few years. Then they will yield a good harvest.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
