Brunnera Jack Frost is best known for its silvery leaves, making the name Jack Frost very fitting, as it looks as if there is frost on the leaves. In the Netherlands, Brunnera is also known as Caucasian forget-me-not. Caucasian due to its origin and forget-me-not because of the small blue flowers that resemble forget-me-nots. Brunnera does not like full sun and is therefore very suitable as a shade plant under a tree or in another dark corner of the garden.

CARE

In autumn, the foliage above ground dies off. In spring, you can prune back the old stems to 15-20 cm. Also give some organic fertiliser to stimulate flowering and growth. Be careful not to overfeed this plant, as this will result in less sturdy flower stems.
SPOT IN THE GARDEN

Although the plant thrives in any soil type, it prefers chalky soil. Ensure good drainage, as the plant dislikes wet feet. Plant the Chrysanthemum in partial shade to full sun.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
