About this perennial

Autumn Aster 'White Ladies' produces beautiful white flowers. With a height of 90 centimetres, the flowers are also very suitable for use in a cut flower bouquet from your own garden.

In September and October, the Aster adds beautiful colour to the garden, often at the front of the border. With its long flowering period, beautiful colours, and strong appeal to bees and butterflies, this autumn bloomer is a valuable addition to your garden.

CARE

In early spring, give some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth. Then, top the plant in spring for good, sturdy flower stems. After flowering, it's a good idea to cut off the spent flowers. Water the plants at the base and make sure the plant isn't too wet, even in winter.

After about 4 years, it's wise to dig up and divide the plant. The young shoots grow on the outside of the plant. Cut and replant these pieces with some extra organic fertilizer.
SPOT IN THE GARDEN

Plant the Autumn Aster in a sunny spot in the garden with well-drained soil. The Aster usually grows and flowers well in partial shade too. Furthermore, preferably place the plant in a spot where there is some wind. The airflow along the leaves ensures they dry properly and prevents diseases.

Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
