CARE

If you plant the Helenium individually in the garden, use a support ring to support the plant. This is often not necessary in a border among other plants. Because the plant blooms so profusely, you can easily pick flowers from it for a vase.

In early spring, cut back dead leaves and stems and apply some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth. After a few years, it is good to dig up and divide the plant. Replant the young, healthy sections in the ground. This will keep the plant healthy, and you will be able to enjoy it for years to come.

Plant the Helenium in a sunny spot in your garden and ensure well-drained soil. The colours of the flowers will be more vibrant with plenty of sun. The flowers will certainly attract many bees and also butterflies to your garden.

The plants from Kwekerij Jan (our own P9 nursery) are grown with great care. The plants are grown in organic soil and nourished without artificial fertilizers. We reuse rainwater that we have collected in our basin. We use pots made from recycled material. Every year we take steps towards more sustainable cultivation. Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
