About this perennial

Salvia nemorosa 'Blaukönigin' is a versatile perennial that produces beautiful purple-blue flowers. The nemorosa varieties of Salvia come from Europe and are also known as woodland sage. They are beautiful species for the garden. This perennial grows easily in a pot or in the ground and looks great in a border. Each plant produces plenty of flowers and attracts many bees and butterflies.

      CARE

      Salvia nemorosa 'Blaukönigin' is a strong plant that grows and flowers easily. It requires little maintenance, making it a great plant for your border or balcony. Cut the flowers from the plant to encourage new blooms.

      In autumn, the flowers die back, and you can leave the remaining stems on the plant. In early spring, you can remove them if you wish. Also, give some organic fertilizer to stimulate growth. The plant is very winter-hardy.

      Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

      Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026.
