Sanguisorba - Burnet

Sanguisorba officinalis has the delightful Dutch name Pimpernel. This charming perennial flowers abundantly from June to August and produces beautiful red blooms on sturdy stems. It creates a lovely effect in your border, but is also perfect as a cut flower. Plant Sanguisorba in the sun or partial shade and it will produce an abundance of flowers all summer long.
