About this perennial

Phlox Bright Eyes produces beautiful pink flowers with a dark center. This lovely perennial is a great addition to your garden, and its flowers are also perfect for cutting to create a bouquet from your own garden. The Flame Flower is a strong plant and an easy grower. You can encourage the plant to produce more flowers by cutting back the first stems in spring to one-third of the plant's height (approx. 15 cm). This will stimulate wider growth.

CARE

Phlox blooms very easily. If you leave the flowers on the plant, the flowers and leaves will die back in winter. In early spring, cut away old leaves and flowers to stimulate new growth. Also, apply some organic fertilizer at that time.

In spring, you can cut back the first stems to one-third of the plant (approx. 15 cm). This stimulates the plant to produce more branches horizontally, on which new flowers will then grow.

Ideally, place Phlox in full sun or partial shade, directly in the ground. Ensure well-drained soil.

Phlox is a strong plant and does not require support. It prefers a spot in full sun or partial shade. Ideally in somewhat airy soil, which can be created by spreading about 4 cm thick ornamental compost in the planting hole.

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
