About this perennial

The Coneflower, or Echinacea, has been a popular perennial for gardens for years. This is due to their beautiful flowers, rich bloom, suitability as cut flowers, and attractiveness to bees and butterflies. Echinacea Magnus is a beautiful species with fantastic purple flowers.

CARE

In spring, remove leftover leaves and stems and give the Coneflower some organic fertilizer. If you have acidic soil, you can give this plant some extra lime. The flowers of the Echinacea are also very suitable for cutting or picking for a bouquet from your own garden. <!--en--><!--en-->Divide the plant every 4-5 years and plant the young parts back into the soil to keep the plant healthy.
SPOT IN THE GARDEN

Plant Echinacea Magnus in a sunny spot in the garden, from full sun to partial shade. Ensure nutrient-rich and well-draining soil. Before planting, mix some fresh soil or compost into the existing soil for a nutritious base. The plant is very winter-hardy and quickly produces abundant flowers in the summer months.

The plants from Kwekerij Jan (our own P9 nursery) are grown with great care. The plants are grown in organic soil and nourished without artificial fertilizers. We reuse rainwater that we have collected in our basin. We use pots made from recycled material. Every year we take steps towards more sustainable cultivation. Delivery

Our P9 plants are available directly from stock. You can indicate in the shopping cart when you would like to receive your order.

Are you also ordering peonies in pre-order in the same order? Then your order will be delivered in two packages. The peonies will be shipped between October 12 and October 25, 2026. You can choose a shipping week for the peonies during checkout; this will be indicated under the shipping method.
